This privacy policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit this website or book a stay at Dar Bassidi, why we use it and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible

2. What data we collect
When you visit the website Our hosting provider automatically processes technical data that every browser sends, such as your IP address, browser type and the time of your visit. This is needed to show the website securely and to protect it from attacks. We do not use these data to identify you.
When you send a booking request - Name, email address and phone number - Arrival and departure dates, number of guests - Flight number, if you would like the airport shuttle - Experiences you are interested in and any other requests you write to us
When you book and stay with us - Payment confirmation and amount. We do not receive or store your card details; payments are handled by our payment provider. - Identity details from your ID or passport, which we are required to record under Moroccan law - Messages you send us by email or WhatsApp
3. Why we use your data
- To answer your request, confirm your booking and send you the invoice (to fulfil the contract with you)
- To organise your stay, the airport shuttle and the experiences you book (to fulfil the contract with you)
- To comply with legal obligations, for example guest registration with the authorities and tax records (legal obligation)
- To keep the website secure and working, and to measure its use in aggregated form (our legitimate interest)
We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.
4. Who receives your data
We only share your data where it is needed for the purposes above:
- Technical service providers that host this website and deliver our forms and emails
- Our payment provider, to process your payment
- Drivers and activity partners, only the details needed for your transfer or experience (for example your name, flight number and pickup time)
- Authorities, where Moroccan law requires it
Some of these providers are based outside Morocco or the European Union. Where this is the case, we only work with providers that offer appropriate data protection safeguards.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. To understand how our website is used, we use a privacy-friendly statistics service that works without cookies. It records aggregated information such as page views, the referring website, the country and the type of device. It does not create user profiles and does not track you across other websites. Our fonts are stored on our own server, so no data is sent to font providers. The map of our location is provided by Google Maps. It only loads when you click "Show map"; from that moment Google may process your data under its own privacy policy.
6. How long we keep your data
- Booking requests that do not lead to a booking: deleted after 6 months at the latest
- Booking and payment records: as long as required by tax and accounting law
- Guest registration data: as long as required by Moroccan law
7. Your rights
You have the right to: - know which data we hold about you and receive a copy - have incorrect data corrected - have your data deleted, unless we are legally required to keep it - object to the use of your data or ask us to restrict it
